Jiaogulan – J herb powder (Gynostemma pentaphyllum)

Jiaogulan Herb Powder (also known as J-herb) is the ground powder of Gynostemma pentaphyllum. Jiaogulan is a climbing vine native to the mountainous regions of southern China and other parts of Asia. The Chinese call jiaogulan an immortality herb and claim it has rejuvenating properties; several studies have shown beneficial effects in people. There have been field trials in horses (Kellon, 2004).
 
Jiaogulan is very palatable and readily accepted by horses. It is also economical, with servings as small as 2 to 8 g typically effective.
 
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
